Check engine light

Thought I put this out there, in case anyone gets a check engine light.

Took my car in on 2 different occasions for check engine light. Both times called up on star to see what the problem was. I was told there was an issue with the fuel management system. The first dealer missed it and blamed it on a dealer 3rd party installed alarm.

The second dealer said it needed a software update.

Per dealers paperwork:

2810705 Chassis control module reprogramming with SPS

1655 Exhaust valve control reprogram/relearn inspect and find
P069e-and exhaust flow control codes p12f0, p12f2, p12fd, p12ff stored as history in ccm and ecm. troubleshoot and find correct power/ground/signal at all 4 exhaust valves, reprogram ccm and relearn positions for forward/rearward exhaust valves, clear codes and test drive to verify repairs.

Same Here

I had the same problem two weeks ago. I let the gas get down to 1/8 of a tank of gas. I stopped on a hill and the car staggered before clearing up. My check engine light came on and I got the same reading. The dealer cleared the code and it has not happened again.

My best guess is there is a starving of the gas pick up line when the tank is low and you are on a hill. Sort of like when race car drivers run low on gas and need to park their cars at an angle to make sure they can get them restarted.

At least that was my experience.

It will be interesting to see if anyone else has the same problem.

Well, check engine came back on so I suppose that wasn't the issue.

Dealer is still trying to figure out what the problem is. They have ordered a chassis control module, to be replaced on Thursday.
Per dealer they had to get GM tech department involved and this was what they came up with.

Weird tonight as I remote started my 16 SS, it all of a sudden just died. I got in & restarted & driver info stated that it was in reduced power mode. Barely made it home & up my driveway. Taking to dealer in the morning if it makes it... LOL!!!
Second Camaro that I've ever owned as I really disliked my 5th gen because of just different reasons. Had so many Mustangs with no issues what so ever & the 6th gen came out & I just really liked it. Traded my 2015 5.0 in on this just because I liked it more & now this. HAHA!!! Hope the dealer gets this resolved along with the driver side window whistle & paint flaws. Fingers crossed...

2nd day I had the car I had the light come on, dealer said it was 1655 Exhaust valve control reprogram/relearn. No explanation why, but reading this thread caused me to recall that since I didn't have time for the car to be detailed the day I got it, I left the dealership with less than a quarter of the tank full. They cleared the code the next day and filled the car up for me. Not had an issue since.

i had it, and once the check engine light came on the car won't allow a remote start for obvious reasons. I was a fuel sensor
