Cool M6 vs. A8....

So now that the cars have been out a while what's the verdict on which is faster?

I was really impressed with the A8 in the Corvette Z06 I rode in a while back.

I'm an old school manual "row your own gears" type of guy but the new 8 speed autos are impressive.

What's the pros and cons do far from those who have both?

Are you really looking to start another of these threads? We all know how they go...

People who like manuals will say they are better, people who like automatics will say they are better.

Reality is very, very few have tracked their cars yet, and many live in climates where they can't for a few months.

We all know what one is better suited for drag racing, and what one is better suited for road racing.

IMO, a mod should just close this as it's been beaten to death...

Talking

White adds 35 HP and reducesses the wait by 100 pounds! And add red vinyl and you get 25 more HP... Scientifically prove many times.. White is the fastest!

Summit White

I really like the Summit White paint. I was finally able to test drive two Camaros at different dealers. One was the Hyper blue and the other black. Both listed for over $47K. I did my pre-approved loan through my Credit Union and find I can afford the monthly payment. So now, what to order???

I think the pic on this thread sealed it...Summit White will be the color no matter what else I'm able add. That's a great looking car!

So far the reds as fast as the white and both are A8's. One has went 9.83 and the other 9.84 unless they've broken those records already

There were some pretty funny things said in that "other" thread

Now, on to why the manual leaves you connected to your car....
