Roto-Fab should have something in February. Cold Air Inductions should have theirs in March.

A little research go a long way. Absolutely ZERO CAI options exists still. Trust me, the forum will blow up when there is LOL. March is the rumor for the GM Performance Intake.

Wonder if we can even expect an increase? Doubtfully much. Less for the V6 most likely. These cars look built pretty well.

What is intriguing is the tune with the GM CAI. Hopefully the tune does not void the warranty. This tune may alllow more mods before needing another tune. This would not apply to LTs which are not showing much gain so far anyway.

I am not paranoid about the warranty, but after my experience with my ZL1, I want to keep mine around for a while.

Warranty is good and it exists for a reason. You loose NOTHING keeping it and I am with you, if you have issues... You want the warranty lol. Just like insurance imo. Shit happens, and it's good to have a back up haha.

I am very curious of the Chevy tune that will come with it. If I can pull it off, I will get a baseline done before and after the intake. First baseline is already scheduled for Feb 6th so I'll have something to compare to after intake.

The "tune" that will come with it will just be a vary basic parameter change to account for the extra air. Nothing more...still, a good thing, but this is not like getting an actual mail order or dyno tune fellas. Like in the past, if your dealer does the install, it should not effect your warranty.

the way ford does this with their ford racing performance parts is that you technically loose the FORD warranty in the areas that the FRPP interfered. if you get the part installed by a dealer, you will get a FORD RACING warranty that will mimic the FORD warranty for that part to the end of your original FORD warranty term.

In the case the Ford Racing part was responsible for failure, the FRPP would cover it.

it seems like there are legal or logistical reasons the original FORD warranty cannot take FRPP into its scope, so i am interested if GM will need to finagle a similar approach.

Keep us informed , I'm sure there will be a good demand for it and a group buy or specials would be fantastic!

interested to see if the GM tune file just adjusts the MAF transfer function for the new intake or are other parameters effected.

I built me one to get me by for the time being. It was a kit for a 94 Ford Explorer. I just happened to see the picture of it on the box at Oreillys and went that bend looks like my intake kinda. Few cuts and cut a spot out for the maf and wahlah
