TONS of leftover '15s on dealer lots
At least where I live in SoCal where there's about 4 dealers within 30 miles. One dealer has 12 '15s and 14 '16s.
'15 2SS's manuals are $35K w/2LS V6's $21K. Still not really enticing enough deals to get a '15 to me anyway. I wonder how hard it will be to dump all these 2015s. |

As with all cars and previous models left on the lot, deals will come or cars will be auctioned. This isn't unique for Camaros.

In my local area, dealerships have tons of 2015's left and aren't marking them down much more than $5k or so, which is a typical markdown for any old model year, not even accounting for the fact that an all-new model is now out. People were claiming to see crazy markdowns on the z/28 weeks ago, but most lots here are still asking very close to MSRP. Until they announce a replacement in the pipeline, the car will still fetch top dollar. While there are plenty of 2016's in the showroom at front and center, I think the dealerships don't have a very large inventory overall and are trying to milk the outgoing model for every penny until they need to give in and slash the prices a little more. |

My dealer blew through 40 15's in November. They have one left on the lot, a poor silver LT.

I feel like it would be very hard to convince someone to go for a new 2015 Camaro when the 2016 is better in so many ways. It would have to be a HEAVY discount.

This always happen, and yet some people don't learn.....
Not seeing that the 2016 Camaro is selling well or poorly, however what is happening at dealer XYZ in area ABC doesn't really say anything. You are always going to see cars perform differently, some dealers are going to sell slowly while others are going to sell fast while some probably still haven't gotten any..... |

There's a brand new 2014 convertible ZL1 near me MSRP $63,645 and they have it listed for $60,645. I wonder how low they would sell it for? I assume they won't go that low or it would of been sold by now.
