What's that on the door?

Anyone know what that small oval shaped thing is? It's located about shoulder height and just forward of the seat back on both door panels.
Strange.....

If you are talking about what I think you are referring to, I believe those are tweeters for the sound system.

I looked more closely and there are only five plastic fins but nothing to indicate any type of speaker or microphone. There is no hole.

That's what I thought at first but upon closer inspection, I don't think it is.
When you get a chance, look at yours.
Thank you...

So the Cadillac ATS has a feature called Bose AudioPilot. Basically it uses white noise frequencies to negate noise outside the car. The microphones for the AudioPilot system on the ATS are in the bezel for the shit handles. My guess is that, due to a lack of shit handles in the Camaro, what you have identified are the microphones for this feature.

I looked at a picture of my door real quick that I had on my phone, yeah I think they are the microphones for the audio system...I will look later at the actual door to get a better look.

I see no holes that microphones typically have. As mentioned before, the left A pillar has a microphone for onstar and your phone.

I think its a sound phaser for the base, to let the base get air in the door, to sound as good as it does now for a stock car.

Cultrag got back to me:

I Asked "what does the parts catalog call it?"

Patrick wrote: "They don't call it anything because they don't service it separately from
the door panel but its for the noise cancelling microphone"
