PICKED UP MY NEW RED HOT 2LT COUPE TODAY

It has the RS package, 8speed Auto, Dual Mode Exhaust, Convenience and Lighting Package. It was the Dealers 1st 2016.

It's okay,
I want to get more miles on it. I t feels strong I just wish it had more grunt own low. I have the 8 speed auto.

The 3.6L will gain some hp and fuel economy after a few K miles. Don't expect it to have a lot of low end tq. It won't. You will have to manually shift to hold lower gears to keep it in itower band.

I noticed increased power after my first few drives. Definitely difficult to keep it below 4K RPM's. I want to feel what this V6 is capable of.

Also want to know what this exhaust sounds like at higher rpm's and full throttle.

The V6 has a nice flat torque curve from down low throughout the upper rpms. One quick look at the factory dyno chart will show that. But yes, it is happier in the higher rpms.

A tune on my former V6 really woke up the throttle response, thus making the low end feel pretty good to me. Not saying this car needs a tune...just saying...I think some of the TCM programming in that A8 transmission can and will make the low end feel a bit soft. Give it some miles and break in, and get back to us.

is that spoiler the part of the RS package? you plan on keeping it or replacing it? its so tiny, idk, guess I'm a bit partial to the 5th gen's rs spoiler
