Picked up my 2016 Camaro on Saturday!
I had to drive a ways to get it but I saw dealer had just received a 2016 hyper blue SS back on Thursday night so I contacted them and drove 160 miles early Saturday morning to pick it up. Used my supplier pricing without an issue. The folks at Henna Chevrolet in Austin were top notch and the salesman John Smith was fantastic to work with. Extremely knowledgeable and passionate about performance cars. I'd highly recommend him to anyone in the area.
The car had 8 miles on it when I got there. Took a test drive and decided I wanted it. The car comes with the kalahari knee bolsters and cargo net but I was told they hadn't arrived yet and they would call me as soon as they are there. People are right about the backseat not having much room but the car is fantastic otherwise. It drives amazingly well, the A8 is an incredible transmission, and overall I'm in love with what Chevy has done with the 6th gen. My last camaro was a 4th gen so it's a big upgrade for me. My HHR SS and the last camaro I had were both stick so I was nervous about switching back to an auto but as good as that thing runs, I'm happy with my decision now. I did run into an issue with the gas gauge not working and a check engine light so unfortunately the car is back in the trusted hands of a local dealer now. Will update when I find out more information. Can't wait to get her back!

Congrats! Were you the one that mentioned the fuel gauge the other day or was that someone else? If this is another one, maybe that is one the QC hold issues.

Thanks for the large, high res shots. That's probably how I would spec my interior (except for the sunroof).
Sorry to hear about the electrical gremlins so soon. Hopefully yours is just an aberration. |

Congratulations! I looked at a Hyper Blue one today and the pictures do not do it justice. Car in that particular color looks so much better and looks great in person.. Maybe other colors too, but I didn't care for the hot red.

Yup that's me. I took the car in this afternoon and already got a call back saying the fuel level sensor has to be replaced. They said they tried everything they could hoping it was electrical but it looks like it's the sensor itself. It was too late to overnight the part so it should arrive on Wednesday morning. They put me in a 2016 Silverado for the time being. Not a bad truck at all! But I still miss the camaro!
