Got my invoice pricing today

MSRP $50,965 with an invoice of $49,532, not a lot of mark up. I got $200 over invoice. I got a white 2SS , sunroof,NPP, MRC, Nav, Black split spoke, white insert interior, illuminated emblem.. pretty much everything except ground effects.

Damn these things are expensive.

Oh, I was a 10/19'er, got an ETA today of 12/01, so I am assuming it is finally on its way to Texas.

Smoke em if you got em!

Just curious, but did your dealer actually show you the invoice? Because including the $200 over invoice, that's only roughly $1,600. The invoice price on my 1SS, with NPP and automatic only, was over 1,600 off MSRP.

But my dealer added their advertising association costs onto the invoice, which cut my invoice price discount by roughly $700.

I'm betting your dealer did the same.

Yah that's not true invoice my dealer knocked 1900 off mine for military pricing which should still be above invoice.

I already told my dealer, no advertising fees, no dealer fees. I typically don't pay them when I buy a car from them.

I have to agree with others. There is a lot more markup in vehicles than that. It's not the 10% that it used to be but it is definitely more than 2.8%. That said, it's still nice to get money off of a brand new vehicle so congrats on the purchase.

If there is ANY ADM (additional dealership mark up) over MSRP, IMMEDIATELY report it to Chevy Regional/Zone managers ASAP. I was told that they frown upon that extremely and was told to report any such event.

I tried to see what if anything they could do, but my salesman basically defaulted to saying that he is already getting flack for selling it to me at invoice price anyways....so I don't know. I've worked with this guy in the past (had a good experience), and my brother whom is a mechanic there referred me to him b/c he seems to be an honest guy...so it is what it is.

I could threaten to walk, but I'm not going to walk away over $700 on a nearly $40,000 car.

About 2 months ago someone leaked a scanned copy of true dealer cost, along with invoice and MSRP, of all 2016 Camaro trims.

It was removed but not after some of us copied and saved that document.

yeah...I had already calculated out my invoice price based on that. When my salesman shot me the invoice price, I told him it was higher than I expected. He explained why, and when he showed me the invoice document, the actual factory invoice was exactly as I had calculated.
4% off the car model/trim. 9% off any options (NPP, automatic transmission, etc.)

Check the 2015 Hellcat regarding ADM. I've seen several 2016 Z06 Corvettes with a $10K ADM. GM can't dictate what the dealer charges for their cars. MSRP is the suggested price for all brands.

So, when your dealership gets the invoice, does that mean they know when the car will arrive, in terms of the ETA of the vehicle?

I think it's time I pay a visit to my dealership.....................

You're right, they can't dictate, but they can persuade... "why is our allocation on these cars lower than last year?"
