Build & Price your car on Cars.com. Invoice pricing displayed
Hey all,
This was brought to my attention by Tushar this morning. You can now build and price your car on cars.com. And for all those looking for what to expect with invoice pricing, that is also displayed. It doesn't display an image of the car just pricing. Just wanted to share for those who might be interested. On the cars.com homepage (in desktop mode) go to Browse new cars > by make. Click on Chevrolet then 2016 Camaro then Price with options. My build came to 42,909 -Invoice. Looks like the leaked pricing was accurate. |

Thanks. I'm looking at the config now. Can't decide between this or a new Miata...

These prices have been known for a while, including invoice.

There was a post showing dealer invoice along side dealer price both bookended by MSRP on the left and employee on the right for about a quarter hour. The cars invoice prices are the same.

Is it resonable to ask for a price below the invoice, say few months from now...say Feb... I built the car and the invoice price came up to $36480... Is it safe to ask them to do $35000? Or will I be kicked out of the showroom

I don't know call it what you want. All I know is the mods removed all the links and images of the pricing swiftly after it was posted and Becky wouldn't confirm our deny the pricing. So that leads me to believe it wasn't suppose to be out.
You've known them, I've known them but a lot of people didn't get a chance to see the pricing cuz it was only up for an hour. There were multiple people that responded to my order thread and pm'd me about Invoice price. So this is for them and others like them. I said in my original post "for those who might be interested". If this is not useful for u please disregard. |

Thanks for sharing. I have a screenshot of the pricing that was up, but I still like the option of pricing out what I want, since GM has not made that available yet.

With that said, I'd still say to give it a shot. If they agree to $36k, then you still got the car for $500 under invoice. |

Having spent most of the morning cross referencing the price list and the option list to make sure I didn't add options that were already on it ZN2 for instance doesn't need to be added to a 2SS... This would have saved me a bunch of time. Thanks.
