Got blocked in, gotta vent

So I had to pick up a part, came back out to my car, and was blocked in for about 10 minutes. I was next to a curb, no way to get an angle. Why are some people so inconsiderate? When she finally came out, I told her that she was lucky that I was in this car. She just looked at me like she did nothing wrong! Sorry for the rant, but I had other things to do, not just sit for nothing!

On the plus side - Even though you were blocked in, you have the coolest looking car on this site. You also live in a place where it's usually warm. I don't feel sorry for you. I do hope she was hot.

I had that happen when taking my wife's car in for service. The service center had parked my wife's car in a parking spot to be ready to be picked up and a "lady" double parked in front, couldn't find her eventually had the dealership page the car owner over the Pa about 20 min later she comes out with her little dog and gets in to her car. Needless to say I had words with her and she too felt she didn't do anything wrong.

I can forgive a few minutes but she was easily there 30 mins blocking someone else in. She is lucky I am not a vindictive person.

I think you all are missing the point and being totally unsympathic to the OP's issue. So lets get to the issue here shall we?

So was she hot?

I would have not waited 10 minutes for her to come out.

I would have gone into the store and loudly asked who the person was with the silver whatever the heck that thing is. Then I would have loudly asked the store owner to call the tow truck if she didn't respond (it's a parts store, there can't be that many people there).

Then I would have checked out if she was hot.

You are much more forgiving than I am... if my car is blocked in, I'm going to make sure that the f- wad understands exactly how pissed off I am. If I can get a tow truck there in time, I will. If all I can enter the vehicle and roll it away, I will. If opportunity presents itself to make them understand that utter and complete selfish disregard for other people is NOT okay, I will certainly do so.

I pity the fool.

I gave her some words, like it did any good.

Wow. Just wow. No matter how attractive the woman is/was/could be, hardly matters. If she is that inconsiderate as a person, you want nothing to do with her.

In the past I have re-arranged the front of a BMW that boxed me in on a street in Boston- the Bimmer driver left me about 3" of room, and the back bumper of my '70 is like a chromed brick wall. I moved that Bayerische Motoren Werke about two feet back and pulled out. 510 lb/ft will do that for you. I'm not proud of that, but at the same time I regret nothing.

However that was curbside parking and the jerk parked behind me in a loading zone, it wasn't a parking lot.
