Which 4 cylinder Would you select based on best value?
Hi;
If I was considering the following three 4-cylinder cars, each with its own best value, which one would you pick as the best valued car. Camaro 2016 Tubo 2.0 Best value: Alpha Platform Mustang 2016 Turbo 2.3 Best value: More power Subaru WRX Turbo 2.0 Bast value: AWD All 3 have similar price point, but which offers best value/ Thanks! Turbo 2.0 Ecotecs have a massive aftermarket support system from the days of Turbo Cobalts, Saturn Sky's and Pontiac Soltice GXP's and can reliably make tons of power.
Camaro 2.0 Turbo for sure.

honestly, if I was in the market for a turbo 4 it wouldn't be the Camaro. The WRX or Focus ST would get my money. I'm just not interested in a car like this one with a 4 cylinder in it.

Given it looks like the 1/4 mile time is comparable between the Camaro and Mustang, and the Mustang performed very poorly in the recent fast laps at VIR, I would wait until there is more information on the Camaro to see how well rounded it really is.
To me the Subaru is just a different car. If I wanted something like that I would probably be looking at the STI and cross shopping it with the VW GTI or Focus RS. That just me.

Great feedback guys
I kind of agree that for 4, I should be looking at the WRX/STi, GTi, Focus, than Mustang and Camaro. I think Camaro and Mustan shine in the V8 category. The Focus RS with all the markup, it will be in the $40K, outside of my rang. The Focus ST and VW GTI are unfortunately FWD. So, seems like my real choice is WRX in $27K range. |

I think Camaro four will be nice, just not sure I could buy,a 4 cylinder in this segment.
I'd personally look at the WRX. |

I guess it really depends on what you want and I'm not sure if the WRX should be in your comparisons against the mustang / camaro. If you want a RWD sports coupe, then the mustang or camaro. If you're looking for more utility, then definitely consider the WRX (AWD! 4 doors!) or GTI. The focus RS is pretty freakin' sweet though... but at that price you could get a V8.

In that group, Camaro, unless you want to drive in the winter or want/need a backseat. Then WRX makes a good choice.

I'm sorry but this is a new age, and some of you need to get past the fact that there is a four cylinder camaro. The LTG has a huge aftermarket support for the ecotec platform to begin with. Just look at ZZPerformance. They are spear heading ecotec aftermarket developement, and been the leader in that platform for over a decade. Here is some of there most notable parts. http://www.xvideos.com/video9324211/...joven_follando . Here is another article where they are working on all their stage kits. http://gmauthority.com/blog/2014/07/...-cadillac-ats/ . So the turbo four is a great platform, and I am looking forward to my purchase.

ZZP has done significant upgrades to my Sonic and they are definitely turbo oriented.
