When can we expect weight and performance numbers?

So, it's been about three months since the reveal and I was wondering how much longer we should expect to wait for more data about the 6th gen? What about magazine reviews and comparisons?

Al O said at the Fest that pricing would be out in around 2 weeks from then (so either tomorrow, or sometime next week) and that performance data would be in around a month.

So based on that, I'm saying mid to late Sept for weight and performance stats.

Can't wait!

the german car magazine autobild.de says this:

Length: 4meters 78 centimeters
Width: 1meter 90centimeters
Height: 1 meter 35 centimeters

the new camaro is 6 centimeters Shorter and 2 centimeters narrower.

the wheelbase lost 4 centimeters, now it is 2meters 81centimeters.

the camaro has the same alpha platform like the cadillac ats with that they save circa 90kilos.

engine: 6,2 Liter v8 LT1 from the stingray, with 461 horsepower and 617 Newtonmeters torque.

Yeah I hoping very soon as well. I want to know the weight more than anything. Can't wait for the magazines to test them against the mustang as well. Exciting times ahead!

Cant use magazine tests against a Mustang.... If the Camaro wins. They are in bed with GM. Its a conspiracy.

Magazine reviews should be in their respective November issues which will hit the newsstands early October, October 6 I think. They may have accurate weights.

Yes this will be good to compare weight to what GM says the weight is for the base models.

SS will handle the GT in performance tests across the board, no doubt. Is that even in question anymore?

O I know it will take care of the mustang no problem, I just want to see what they say about the camaro and mustang rivalry.

Depends on who you ask, or what pills you take.

As far as the weights are concerned, they're isn't any actual numbers out, but it's been reported (by GM and article in Car & Driver) that the LT is going to be 300lbs lighter and the SS 200lbs. lighter than the Gen5.

I understand there aren't any numbers out. That's why I was asking when the numbers would be out.
