Meth with LSA

So who all is running meth with a LSA or other roots style blowers? I'm currently spraying before the throttle body. I'm about to peak out my set up before going turbo this winter.

What I want to know before turning it up is how well is the meth disturbed to each cylinder when spraying before the throttle body?

In my head it seems like the front cylinders don't get as much as the rear.

Mine sprays before the rotors so I would thing it gets mixed up very well. Haven't had and problems with it.

What's power do you make? You tuned for meth or just spraying?

My car seems to think otherwise. The heat has dropped a ton and car pulls smoother on top end..

I believe it is more on how it treats the roots type blower and the protective coating...

But, Sack Rat (who is up at ADM) noted what I quoted...

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...2&postcount=43

It's ADM's approach...

Glad it's working for you! Smokum does not use it in his for the same reason...

Thanks!

The coating on the rotor's thing is bunk. Yes it will slightly take some off, over an extremely long period of time. Look at any pd blower that has a lot of miles on it w/ no meth being sprayed, the teflon comes off on it's own eventually anyways. If you want to do meth go for it! We only run & sell alky control kits as they don't use any of the push lock stuff that will leak over time, plus the kits are vehicle specific and install flawlessly. If you want to do a kit let us know and we can set you up and answer any tech questions you may have when you install it.

I have a snow performance progressive kit already. I'm just worried about each cylinder getting enough when being tuned. Idk how even it spreads threw the blower after going threw the rotors.

We run methanol on a good number of ZL1, CTS-V, ZR1, and of course other vehicles equipped with the TVS blowers (weather stock, or aftermarket) and have never had an issue. One thing that we do if you are extra worried about it would be to keep the PCV system hooked up and allow the oil vapor to still enter the system. This will help add another layer of protection for the seals, and the rotors themselves so they are never dry.

Also, we only use M1 Methanol to ensure the proper purity, so I can't comment on anything other than this.

Lots Of people Running it on the roots. Most will tell you not to run a mixture when spraying post TB into a Roots style though.. Only %100 as the water in the mixtured Water/meth fluid can get into the bearings and pull the oil out and it eats away at the rotors quicker.

You spraying before the throttle body? 100% or a mixture?

We use 100% meth as most people's iat's will never get high enough to flash water and therefore you run the risk of it pooling.
