Yup... quite a super slingshot indeed! I test drove the P85 in early January (the Ds haven't arrived yet) and boy does that thing blast you off like a jetfighter. I can only imagine with the D's larger electric motor on the front axle!

The article is also quite accurate... once it passes into the triple digits, many other sports cars or muscle cars will start to reel it in since the top end isn't as astounding as its bottom-end. Still a blast from light to light!

Right? It's hard for me to imagine 0-60 in 3.2 with no engine noise. Hell, it's hard for me to imagine acceleration that fast in a sedan at all!

Because the 691hp and 0-60 in 3.2s makes it no longer a boring sedan.

I test drive the 85 a while ago. They didn't have a P85 available at that event. Definitely puts you back in the seat. And it's astonishingly large but didn't feel like it until I made a U Turn. All that speed and only tire noise is a strange feeling though.

Because 691hp means boredom is just a toe-flick away from being gone. It's hard to be bored when your luxury sedan rips to 60 faster than a lamborghini. I guess when you're a troll that doesn't sound like fun though.

Naw electricity is boring, i dont' care if it can accelerate so hard you need a G suit to aviod black out.
