I want to go to CUBA
I was sitting here with the tv on, the news had an article on Cuba, I wasn't paying attention to it at first, I glanced at the tv and couldn't believe my eyes, they are all driving vintage cars, some foreign, some sh$% boxes but I picked up on a '56 chevy wagon, didn't catch if it was a nomad or not, there was an early '50's chevy coupe and so many others. Now I don't know for sure if they were showing very old footage for some reason but if not that place is a gold mine. It was national news because Obama was talking about something to do with what was on. I'm going to watch it closely next time it comes on.

Yeah, they have had restrictions on things for so long they have become very good at keeping the old cars going!

You would be sadly disappointed in the old cars in Cuba. Most have been converted to Russian Diesel engines and are in horrible shape! I thought as you do, but when I went a couple of years ago over Christmas, I was sad to see the shape these things were in.

Even so, there is a butt load of them, I'm sure I could come up with some good candidates for some cool builds. |

Cars in Cuba
I was in Cuba in 2012 and there are plenty of cars in good condition. Needless to say a ton of them are past their prime, but none the less you will find some gems.
