Too much of the plastic crap for me.

For $122k, I can get a c6z for daily driving and a zr1 for weekend warrior duties.

The C7Z has more carbon fiber than previous gen Z's...its hood and roof alone is pure CF. The body panels have greater robust composite materials too... aka less plastic. The C7's redesigned aluminum chassis is much more stiffer than the C6's. The fender slats, CF splitter/skirts, and the larger spoiler with adjustable wickerbill are all due to Form Follows Function. This is why it's GM's greatest ever downforce producing performance car for the retail market. Add the more advanced MSRC, E-Diff, the 7-spd's Rev-Matching or the quick shifting A8, and CC Brakes... well enough said. This isn't to put down the C6Z... this is to show the great advancement of the Corvette from gen to gen.

No need to spend 122k... the Z06 is for 79K starting as a Stage-1 and an additional 11-12K for the Z07 package w/ Stage-3 aero bits. Therefore it's a no brainer. Oh I forgot to mention the much improved interior and cool tech features that blows away all previous gens combined.

If you read it says the MSRP and VIN are not correct because it hasn't been issued yet so hopefully not $122K.
