Hello all just thought I'd post my yesterdays experience with a happy civic driver, part of this was understandable however.

On my way home from the gym last night (in Mexico) there is a long downward get on ramp to the interstate which has a nice long view miles ahead. Being it was deserted (mostly) and clear outside I decided to give it that quick spirited run. I got her up to 130 and downshifted back to 65-70 (65 speed zone). As I was slowing down I passed a civic coupe at 90 ish that was in the appropriate right hand lane (he gave me the finger as I went by) and of corse I waved with a grin (all 5 fingers).

I jump off a mile later with my right signal on and low and behold guess who is right on my tail???? I slow down and let the drivers window down and pull more to the right bc I see where thjs is going. Yup you guessed it, He pulls next to me (my shirt is off bc duh I left the gym) He asks me if I think I'm a real badass? I respond no I KNOW I'm a real badass. He tells me "well you aint shit" I reply with a laugh, "love the civic dude" He turns left I turn right end of story.

Yes maybe I was portraying the badass attitude (not intended), but I am muscular with low bmi and I'm in a V8 muscle car with exhaust so part of it was self inflicted but in reality guys Im not a badass lol. Gotta love people

All ya gotta do is not give a rat's ass about what others think. Lots and lots of people are intimidated by people who are faster, buffer, taller, richer, or better looking that they are, and it manifests itself as some form of hate that requires them to confront somebody over it. It's a flaw in their character, and if you remember that it's THEIR weakness, you'll care less.

Actually most people do like me (I have one of those personalities). The other thread was down right stupidity and ignorance (on her part) in the other thread. This one although self inflicted was humor! Whats your point btw?

i get it all the time since im on a military base.

Seems like alot of the military enlisted are in heavy debt/ supporting large families on one small income and decide that me being:
A) young and in shape and,
B) Driving a nicer on the spectrum ends car
I am an affront to everything their gods stand for...

Yup that about sums it up. I always make it a point to compliment nice cars, or give props to ppl body builders at the gym etc. Some people can't stand when others appear to be doing better in some way. I feel you bro especially being military.
