Mace LFX 12mm and 6mm Manifold Spacers Install

I just got a package in the post today from MACE ENGINEERING. It contained a 12mm manifold spacer and a 6mm manifold spacer. They were sent to me to do a write up on the install process and the performance increase. I plan on installing the 12mm spacer first doing some logs and driving around to get a feel for how it reacts to my set up, after I have collected enough data I'll give my impression on 12mm spacer. I plan on removing the 12mm and replacing it with the 6mm spacer when I install the cams. The 6mm spacers are better suited to the cams.

It's already been tested multiple times. Nothing new about it... It's essentially the same product as the one I've been working on here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=307431

As mentioned above, mine uses the factory orings so you don't have to deal with the mess of RTV, and the wait time for it to seal.

Not really testing them, Mace has tested them extensively. I am just doing an install thread with pics, some logs on the fuel trims, and my impression. I like the fact that yours will use the factory o-rings, for the reasons you stated.

I've yet to see any dyno results of the MACE spacers on an LFX engine. Just a guess on an approximate gain according to their description.

I'm very curious to see your thoughts once you get it installed, regardless of whos product it is... Just one less one I have to give away

If it were called the "Extendolizer" or some such I'd be calling a lawyer.

Anyways, looking forward to the write up.
