Haha I agree with him 100%. If you can't afford internet you have no business buying a $500 game console. If you don't have internet because you live in BFE, well move out of BFE or deal with it.

Xbox was one of our most loved passtimes when overseas.
that is also a HUGE market of young people that game.

Not to mention no more car installs for kids..
No more RV installs.
No more taking it up to the cabin.
and no more playing using a genny after a huge storm like Ike..
Internet was down here for over 1 month in some areas after IKE as was power.

We played using the generators.

AND even the lastest stat shows a TON of Americans still dont have a high speed internet period.

I don't get it, xbox360 is still around. it's not going to vanish out of thin air, when the new console is released. they are still going to make games for the 360 and have updates. sure, you won't have the latest and greatest console, but when you are over seas, or where ever, without internet, you still have great entertainment on the 360. plus, you can save $400-500.

or get the ps4. although I think the games on xbox360 > ps4/ps3.

I think people want to be apart of the new next gen console but the restrictions that are in place on the xbox side are causing a huge uproar cause they are alienating some people. Your absolutely right games are and will still be coming out for the 360 in the future.

But the problem is they wont be as good as one the ps4 or X1 when they start to pick up steam.I mean 64 player battles in BF4 will not happen on the 360 or the ps3 but have been confirmed on the next gen consoles. Or other soon to be hits on the next gen consoles like TitanFall, Destiny, Killzone the list goes on. Everyone wants a choice to be apart of that but with the way things are going they feel as though they are being pushed towards the ps4 with the limiting factors that are being said.

Me personally i dont care. I love gaming as a whole and my limit of tolerance has not been met with these new DRM restrictions. I'm still super excited about everything to come and all the features that are being toted around about these next gen systems since im getting both. And besides word on the streets is that GTA V will see a re release sometime next year on the next gen consoles. That would be friggin awesome. If not no biggie I still have my 360

Why would you want a 360 that is already an antique?

And sure SOME left over games will trickle down to the 360 but 99% of the titles wont.
game companies do not like writing 2 games from the ground up for 2 different architectures in this case x86 vs PowerPC for the same company.

The problem is MS ( whom in a way signs my paychecks as an MS Server Admin) is screwing the pooch here trying to do things that are not welcome nor necessary on a console.
They are cutting their own throats even EA came out and said flat out said No we had nothing to do with the used game/rental game policies they are baking in.
If greedy ass EA didnt ask for it who did? MS has put all that on the Publishers.

MS has lost touch with what true gamers want. and thats what you get when you fill your gaming division with guys that aren't gamers and only care about money.

Actually EA is one of the companies that ssaid they would use some of the new DRM utilities available on the X1. While other developers said they wouldnt. What MS essentially did was made a Lock, and gave the key to developers. Now its up to the developers on what they feel is necessary that the consumer should do to get that key. Nothing? Pay a Fee?
