Hitting the Rev Limiter?

Under full exceleration from a complete stop from time to time my car is hitting the rev limiter (brief cutout in RPM) in either 3rd or 4th gear.

Specs
2011 2SS Automatic with a muffler delete and CAI cold air intake with ADM scoop.

I would figure the computer would shift the car prior to letting this happen??????? What could be the cause and how do I correct it or keep it from happening other than not mashing the accelerator to the floor.?

If you still have warranty make the dealer fix it. If not either a trans tune or bump up your rev limiter.

Yeah, but I would think they are going to blame the different intake for the problem......at least thats my feeling anyway
