Chrome Maggie

Ladies and Gents,

As I consider Maggie options, I wanted to know from those of you that went with the chrome Maggie . . . How is the finish holding up???

Are you still please that you selected Chrome VS. Black or Red?

Thanks!!

I would not suggest chroming the maggie. Plating will change critical tolerences as well as cause heat retention. The best choice would be to go with a polished unit

It wasn't Really Chrome, it was Powdercoat Chrome, the ones we installed are good so far but they are only 1-2 years old.

Magnuson Products Discontinued Powdercoat Chrome, but I have Plenty of Black ones

Ted.

Thanks guys. So the "polished" Maggie is no longer available (guess that's what I was calling chrome)??

BiggFoot I am taking my car into the shop tomorrow. I'm taking off my polisherd maggie and putting on a twin turbo kit.

My maggie and cam and assorted other accessories are for sale. The maggie has about 3500 miles on it and looks new.

^^^ OMG! WOW!

Anyway, there were very few truly polished TVS units. It is a shame to see the chrome powdercoat option go away...

The thing that made me sit on the fence for the longest time about whether to go TT vs keep my maggie is how great that maggie looks when you pop the hood. It's sweet.

Thanks Emma and I will take this into consideration. Here is the deal . . . I am getting a ZL1 and I am not sure the Maggie will bolt up to the LSA without some sort of adapter/pulley mods. Let me do some checking. I was mostly wanting to go the polished Maggie route to dress up the LSA, cause lets face it . . . the LSA will not win any beauty contests!

We could certainly disassemble a new one and have it polished and sealed if you were interested.

Admittedly, I would struggle putting a used Maggie on my new ZL1
