Have you ever fallen asleep in a strange place?
Have you ever fallen asleep somewhere and found something peculiar had happened during the time of your somnolence?
I fell asleep on the couch in my cousin's playroom; he has several young children. Upon awakening I discovered that I had been punctured by a slew of plastic toy parts. I must've rolled on them as I slept. Now I know how Mr. Potato Head feels... |

I don't remember falling asleep at a strange place......at least not in recent memory. I'm always aware of my surroundings and it's very hard for me to fall asleep in unfamiliar areas.
I had a 14 hour layover at the London Heathrow Airport in 2007 and I had to stay in the terminal. I never fell asleep. I pretty much died when I got on the plane again though.

I find it hard to sleep unless I'm in a comfortable place. So to answer the question, nope

LOL! Same. I've slept on the bathroom floor a few times in my undergrad days.

I still sleep walk, sometimes I find myself on the couch and I had no idea how I got there. A couple times I've even found myself in my car. Never passed out from being drunk, but I slept under a pool table once.

Wow, that's freaky! I would be really weirded out if I was a sleepwalker. I find it fascinating that we do things in our sleep and never remember. If I get hot when I sleep, I'll take sweatshirts and shirts off and never remember sitting up to do so. That weirds me out, so I can't even imagine how disoriented I'd be if I was a sleepwalker.

We used to sleep on the floor under our beds in boot camp. During the day on Sundays, it was the only time we were "allowed" any extra sleep.

LOL. I knew this was an Ivas thread as soon as I read the title.
I fell asleep on the couch of one of those chamber of commerce tourist welcome centers. My wife said I was snoring. She always says that. |

To answer Ivas' question... I fell asleep (ahem) at a party once and woke up in a lawn chair by the pool with a sombrero on my head....

I passed out on a Canadian warship when I was in Italy. We weren't allowed to leave the pier that night and some Canadians said that their ship had a bar/lounge on it. I can't remember how many Fosters I had.
Woke up to the sound of a loud speaker saying "Underway". I panicked for a moment and then realized I was back on my ship!! |
