Wisconsin Blizzard

It's my weekend off and I'm STUCK in my house all weekend Right now there is 10 inches of snow outside and its STILL SNOWING I'm seriously debating moving out of this stupid state! All the highways are being shut down. I'm hoping my lil G5 will get me to work Monday morning.Sorry for the vent guys but I don't mind snow but I hate blizzards when you can't even make it out of your own driveway.

I wouldn't live in WI or that far north just cause of the regular snow.
Even worse for anyone on the the lakes that also gets tons of lake effect snow.

Plus Ive seen Fargo and id go nuts listening to folks talk like that

I lived in Wisconsin 28 years too long ha! When I'm 30 I plan on moving FAR away ha! I'm single, got no kids, and I have no contact at all with my dad's side of the family. The rest of my relatives are long passed away:( I'm thinking Arizona, Nevada or Florida

Just getting clipped here in northern Illinois. Made it home though, 1.5 hours for a 35 min drive. Roads are couple inches of snow and ice. I guess we have another 24 hours of this.

We escaped the cold frozen northern wastelands 17 years ago and never looked back! It is truely Gods country in the summer, all green, clear lakes (except Petenwell or Castle rock) rolling hills and LOTs of woods, but I could not deal with the snow/ice/-20 below any longer.

It has been freezing down here for the past week or so at night and more cold coming...but it is usually all warm, sunny, palm trees, (I'm rubbing it in) and you CAN get Point beer here now!!!

Was born in Waupaca & grew up in Rapids/Nekoosa.

At least you can move ha! Right now their is drifts so tall if I backed my camaro out of the garage I would rip off my front splitter along with my license plate bracket under my bumper:( They are talking another 5-10 inches of snow on top of the 10 inches we already have. I'm sorry but I don't want 20 inches of snow:(

Wow Waupaca that's where I go to take my camaro to go get customized every other week That town is super tiny but the people there are super friendly ha! Dont' worry I will be moving to Florida soon I'm SOO sick of people telling me the last few days sell your Camaro and go get a Truck or SUV I'll rather just move with my RWD vehicle instead.

I'm screwed ha! My splitter is attached to my front bumper like glue ha! I had a issue with the splitter falling off my front bumper so yeah its double sided tape plus two bolts stuck in it ha! My mom just retired about two weeks ago and I can steal her G5 anytime I want to get to work so I guess I will just do that for the next few weeks. I'm not investing in a winter beater the camaro costs me enough money

I got bored sitting at home so I trekked out into the great unknown busting drifts and sliding around town. Also managed to pull 2 cars out of the ditch, give another person a ride to town when they were too stuck, and push another car by hand that was high centered here in town. I love driving around in blizzards.

I miss 6' of snow year in and year out. I miss riding my snow mobile on frozen lakes, and playing street hockey on ice covered roads. (used to live in Alaska). Most of all, I miss the great outdoors.

Not me I don't ski, snowboard or snow mobile so I just sit in the house all winter and get fatter:( I love the summers in Wisconsin though sit outside have a nice cold beer and go down to Miller Park and watch the Brewers play on a nice summer night. Maybe if I found a winter activity to keep me busy I might not get so depressed in the winter but so far nothing

Update

Well the snow stopped at 10 inches. I was able to get the camaro out of the garage but let her run for awhile so my battery doesn't die:(
