LOL pretty sure you’ve misinterpreted almost every post I’ve made in the last 15 years.

A whipple'd GT with some stripes, a body kit, and 100 Shelby badges... I mean, it's more than GM is doing, but it doesn't move my needle at all.

I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy one. Sure, it has some great performance attributes, but I just can’t get excited about the looks IE. the long hood and the ridiculous tv screen. To each their own, but I far prefer the Camaro.

Does nothing for me, and that god awful interior, no thanks. I'll take a 6th Gen Camaro over any mustang.

I am willing to wait another five years to see if Mustang can come close to the Camaro’s chassis, never mind powerplant for that matter. Sound isn’t everything. The old-school diehard engineers are gone and they died with Camaro.

I don't think so, I understand the nuance in many of your posts even if I disagree with a good chunk of them.

What I meant here is the thread's predictably going to veer towards bashing GM's strategy and business model, which you defend every single time, and that's an absolute dead end, you won't get anywhere with it... and that's why I thought this wasn't the thread for you.

C'mon Chevy, you could've continued to beat these guys! But (grudgingly), nicely done Shelby (it still looks more like a Camaro like every newer 'Stang I see- at least to my eyes they do).
Totally agree. The Shelby Mustangs look awesome. My first car was a '69 Mustang, but I never had brand loyalty except when I was in my teens.

I just buy what looks good, performs well, and the 6th Gen beat the regular Mustang GT by a mile. They're a true sports car, with muscle car roots, that can compete with the BMW M4s. At least as far as performance and handling.

I love the look of the Shelby Mustangs. I see one and give a thumbs up when I'm out driving. Regular Mustangs, and even the Dark Horse, not at all. Too generic to the last gen.

I drove the 24 GT in manual. They improved it to be honest. I don't like the tablets but the car has so many more features that it justifies it. They could never achieve that with buttons and combinations.

They have a deep discount now also, under MSRP if you push them. Nobody is picking up 50k+ cars at 9% just for fun.

On the other hand camaros are holding value since new inventory dries out. This summer you can swap it and not loose much.

Agree 100%. And at +100k price point, you can't even track it... its destiny its garage queen and auction later on.

the 24 Mustang is still not tunable.

Looks nice but I am happy with my Camaro so I have no desire for it right now unless I can afford to have it along side my Camaro.

I always liked the 60s Ford products that Shelby made some adjustments to. Great styling on some of them. And the recent GT350/GT500 products that were all Ford, but Shelby branded are awesome. Both of them were amazing in my opinion.

But the Shelby American stuff isn't my thing. I would buy a Rousch Mustang with the power adder only if I was into the straight line, forced induction stuff. For less than $50K I think those are a better choice than the SA versions. I realize the Rousch name isn't quite to the level of Shelby, but I think you get more for the money and it's the practical choice for getting that overkill power.

I have owned a few Mustangs myself and the old school style of the 60's and 70's are definitely the best in my opinon. I do Like the Saleen the best in style and the supercharger giving 800hp

Shelby American is SO overpriced for what you get, almost to the point of being ridiculous. The actual FP Shelby offerings are what I'm waiting to see.

Thanks for your input on the 24 GT. I’m honestly cool with the downgrade in chassis performance. Lap times don’t mean the car will be fun on the road for everyone. I don’t live near twisty roads. The tablet screens are what annoy me more than the chassis being inferior. After sitting in some Mustangs the past few weeks it would be welcoming to have a car that can more easily be used as a car. Might make the switch soon or in a couple years after tracking my 1le a few times the next few years.
