C'mon Chevy, you could've continued to beat these guys! But (grudgingly), nicely done Shelby (it still looks more like a Camaro like every newer 'Stang I see- at least to my eyes they do).

Watched this earlier. I wouldn’t get a super snake as they typically are overpriced (but they do look good) but I am greatly regretting picking up my 23 SS 1le after seeing what these Gen iv coyotes are making with nothing but a whipple and the conservative whipple tune.

You may not have the right car if that's your concern. The 1LE is about handling and the power-to-weight is the same as the 500hp darkhorse, because the 1LE is lighter. If you want to go fast in a straight line...there are better options.

I bought it to track and enjoy back roads but I realized that was stupid. I don’t track enough and the backroads are unfortunately too far/got tired of making the drives so yeah I bought the wrong car. What I hate about it the most is this platform is too expensive for adding a bunch of power so it’s just easier for me to sell it and buy something else.

In Chevy’s defense, this isn’t exactly a Ford product. Shelby American is an aftermarket company.

Super cool Mustang! Pricey but worth it if you want the looks and performance. Yes it does favor the 6gen Camaro in some design cues and I don’t think GM gives a rats behind about us enthusiasts or they would come up with a 7th gen Camaro or something similar to compete with the Mustang.

This is no different than a Hennessy or yenko Camaro. Guys this isn’t a Ford product. It’s not Ford being badass and offering something cool. It’s a Mustang modified by an aftermarket company. It’s not the same as a Ford Performance division built GT350/500. Those successors aren’t out yet. Shelby American is not a part of FoMoCo.
