When I worked for a dealership in MD as a general rule we never installed front tag brackets on Camaros and Corvettes even though we are a two plate state. It is really dealership to dealership policies and practices. I was glad when I went to the dealership the front tag bracket on my 1LE wasn't installed and was left in the trunk.

Piched up my car, and they had that dayam bracket rivited on.
Got home, promptly drilled out the rivets, took the plate and screwed it to a stow-&-show bracket.

Still looked like an a$$-pimple, so i took that off, and left it in the barn.
MA requires a front plate, but i ain't gonna put it on. period.
'Sides, I have an hour long special recorded about the gen 6 Camaro, where they state the size of that grill in the front is a certain size-shape so as to pass enough air thru it to keep all radiators properly cooled down, something like 130~ cu ft of extra air over the smaller engine options.

I get a look now & then from Po-PO's, but never been stopped yet. If I ever do, I'm gonna take it to court with that argument. MA, kiss my a$$.
(Only plate the cops will ever see on my car, is the rear one anyhow!!!)

Mine came with a nice no drill, no rivet front plate holder.
It has hidden clamps that hold on to the lower grill. Actually impressed with how nice it is.

A lot of my recent cars have come from MD and all had lisecnse plate brackets already installed, which is a bad thing when you live in a one tag state such as PA. One dealer I saw with 6th gens all already had the front bracket installed with the car just sitting on the lot.

Bought my SS and drove it for 3 years in Illinois w/o a front plate. Just drove in a way to not draw attention to my otherwise invisible large black sedan. Dealer never questioned the front plate bracket. It and the front plate stayed in the trunk.

I am glad I do not need a front plate.

Only province in Canada that doesn't require front plates and that is pretty much the only reason I like Saskatchewan.

You won't get your next inspection sticker without a front plate.

Is Arkansas a two tag state? My son's V6 RS was transferred from a dealer in AR, had the front frame in the trunk. The car was an June 16 build which we bought 9/30/17. The sticker shows the front frame was a $15 option.

All good if you "Never" ever drive "dirty"....no front just gives them a reason to pull you over..things can go down hill from there...

I had not paid that much attention until after I got my Camaro and decided to keep my front plate in the trunk, but it is unusual to see a front plate on a vette here in
Ohio....

"You won't get your next inspection sticker without a front plate."

Oh, yes I will. It's called Stow&Show, after the sticker, right back in the trunk, and barn.
Haven't had/driven the car for a full year yet, and excise tax (MA) is over $1200. (since purchase)
State of MA can eat my shorts; I OWN the road.
