Yes...this is a high volume dealer that has been good to me. It will be the new flush.

I'm surprised GM is still using this transmission in trucks. Only the higher end V8s have the 10 speed. The A8 problems are what stopped me from buying a C7 after they said the A10 wouldn't fit. I've seen no posts about A10 shudder in the ZL1 forum section and its been available for over 2 years with the A10. Ford and GM got this trans right and GM wins for the calibrations.

The A8 trans problem is why I was not to broken up about trading my 2017 C7 for my 2019 ZL1. Love the A10, no comparison to A8.
And I too had the rumble strip shudder and couple times, had 7000 miles when I traded.
I love my ZL1 and will not go back to the Corvette.

Got the new flush (I guess - new), Jan. 2, 2019, for my son's V6 , about 4775 miles and he had owned for 15 months from new. Dealer ship was great and said that they did a lot of this repair for all type Chevys with the A8. His car did not shutter dropping from V6 to V4 or back, mainly changing gears from 1500 to 2000 RPM or on cruise control. Seems to be doing well. Said to watch it first 300 miles and bring back if needed. Said they had been very successful with the fix. You guys think it's worse on a V8 than V6?

I would say its alot more noticable with the V8. After having the V6 which used to do it as well (although I didnt realize what it was at that time.) I would have likely let it slide in the V6 but in the V8 its almost unbearable.

Idk, before my torque converter replacement my car would bounce the rpms and it would shudder really bad. After replacement, it doesn't do it on V6 anymore, just in V4 mode.

If this new (first quarter of 2019) procedure was just introduced, how can they possibly claim to have done it a bunch of times and have data to prove it has been successful?

My original shuddering at 11k miles was in V8 mode on slight incline, usually in cruise control. It would be in V4 mode than transitioning to V8 mode for the incline, then the rumble strips. Between 1500 & 2000 rpm.

Now, at 26k, V4 mode slight increase in throttle, at lower speeds between 1000 and 1500 rpm it is very noticeable. In V8 mode at higher speeds/rpm's it is noticeable but not as much as the first time.

My question/concern is GM has not definitively stated WHAT is being flushed out?

what is shuddering? does it ruin your car?

I have a 19 v6 so I am assuming I have the transmission effected by this?

Just seeing this, I have a 17 1SS and have noticed that I get the shudder at least 3 or 4 times when I go to work, and it does it between 50 and 70 MPH, sometimes at a higher speed, I first thought that it was the tires that need to be rebalanced because the roads here in Louisiana are not the best in the world, but when I take the truck to work on the same roads I don't get it at all, I should take it in and explain to the dealership about the shudder then go from there, I only have 6100 miles on the car since I bought it back in Sept of 17, I just wonder what kind of excuse I will get.

I called my trusted dealer yesterday to ask about the new Flush, I'll be taking my Colorado ZR2 in on Monday (weather permitting) to have it done. I know it's not a Camaro but I'll report back with results afterwards.

Thank you. That would still be really helpful if it’s the new procedure. I really wish someone had a scan of the new procedure. Surely it’s in GM’s system by now?
