We're going to be running our car when it cools off too, we just picked up a 2017 turbo as a shop car. This was a mild tune, we're going to really push ours stock and see what we can do with no parts. Then install our intake tube, downpipe, and some other goodies we've got up our sleeves.

First weekend out drag racing had a blast with darknightmaro the conditions were deplorable for good numbers but i'm happy with it. Now i'm hooked though lol. Need to get the tune figured out. Even darknightmaro's car ran faster then the V6 guys outside of the built FI guys and we outdid a lot of stock V8's

For sure the 12.95 run would have been a couple tenths faster after I changed the plugs and we messed with the tune...

Now just need to retune for the new meth injection and get back out there again.

The next race I could feasibly make is Aug 26. Should be able to get it dialed in by then...

Sadly after that race there are only 2 more races in our season, Sept 30, and Oct 21

Then the season is over... After the Aug 26 race, should do the FMIC and Big turbo if time allows...

Unfortunately, there is a very good chance that after this season ends, the local track will not be reopening next year, unless someone with deep pockets shows up and does something about it. If that's the case, I'll probably only get to race once or twice a year if I'm lucky as the next closest track is 3-4 hours away.

Might as well put the car back to stock if the track doesn't reopen.

Nice run! that MPH should be good for a 12.5ish run, and your 60' is amazing. Something holding you back, but not sure what, it sure isn't the launch!

there isn't a whole lot to gain in the trans tuning, as we dont have the ability to TUNE the toque management, its either ON or OFF for the upshifts. I have found it to shift slower with the TM turned off.

what I see is the throttle close 1 sec between all my shift :O ,when I tune the trans I erase that , and the torque management I will tune too ,with the time between shifts... like you sead a lot of gain for sure and better Densité/Altitude like September/October near to 0 DA or -...

Nothing in the transmission side will fix that, it's all in the engine side of the tune that controls the throttle closing on shifts.

And the torque management on the transmission side can not be tuned yet. You can either turn it ON or OFF for the upshifts and down shifts. There is so many missing tables it's stupid. It's not like the older 6 speed automatics where everything has been implemented and everything is tunable. It's pretty limited still for the A8 which sucks
