Do yourself a favor..

Go drive in the rain or cold and put the car in Track + PTM WET. Floor it in 2nd gear and listen to the noise that comes out of this car. You're welcome! BTW, that mode is incredible in the rain or cold pavement. No gas modulation needed, just floor it and let the computer sort it out.

My ZL1 does not play in the rain, sleet, snow or dark of night.

It honestly will probably do the same in the dry, just not as dramatic.

I'm going to assume it changes the characteristics of the traction control and majorly reducing wheel slippage. I wonder if it still helps with stability control? Technically, the traction control off light is still on, on the dash.

Its messing with timing and spark I think, which is what I am referring to with the sound. It sounds incredible. It's a true traction control similar to launch control programs on high end cars. It does a great job in keeping the car very stable regardless of user input.

It sounds funny, had it happen in rainy autox.

I had mine in wet mode once on accident and thought my car was broken.

Sounds kinda cool though.

Damn, now I want to try it. Meanwhile, MI dropped its first inch of snow on us already. She's put away for a while.

Mine loves to play under the cover of darkness. I just can’t see out of it.

That’s the only mode my wife drives my car wet or dry.

I tried out PTM-Wet when I first got the car, I don't recall it sounding good -- it sounded more like the fuel pump was going out :P
