ZL1 1LE is the only answer! HAHA! Get the extra Powah and keep the great handling. Just gotta swing the extra $$$$. Always the hard part!

Comp 2 had no HUD and cloth seats and was sold for 34k with 2k miles, so I am very suspect that it isn't a 1LE. Comparing a 1SS to a 1LE doesn't seem very fair considering the 1LE option price. I have sent a detailed email stating this to the adjuster and I hope he makes a change. Annoying but hopefully I will have a new 1LE in the garage this weekend, the Bay Area dealers have been terrible. Several have not known what the 1LE is, and others I have spent time explaining what i am looking for only to have them not return my call. I'm surprised, my original salesmen was great, but sadly he retired. I talked to another salesmen at the same place and he never returned my call. I have now spoken with 5 dealers in the Bay Area, one has a 1LE in Black, but he is firm at his discount and claims he won't budge. Overall very frustrating, but hopefully this will all be resolved soon.
Stick with your guns , he will budge once closer to the end of the month

Good news with insurance, they updated the comparison so I will do fine on the valuation which is nice, I am just awaiting final confirmation before pulling the trigger on the new one. The ZL1LE could be a purchase at some point, but I am also going to replace a truck soon and the price difference is nearly what a nice silverado would cost.

Great news! Hopefully they keep the valuation that way..... I drove by Capital Chevy yesterday and they have 2 1LE's on the lot.

Oh well that's why we have insurance, I guess we will see how the insurance company does when it comes to value...
Yep... you went under it. My 5th gen total was worse than that, but similar in appearance. Front end sheared back like that. I was going 30. Not surprised one bit when you go under a higher riding vehicle.

Glad you are ok.

Any news on the final insurance valuation?

Back in Black!

Well I am happy to say I am back in a new 1LE, and I went with Black this time as this was my first choice last time, but the white was a close second so I was happy.

Geico did ok, I didn't come out of pocket so GAP insurance would have been pointless. I also didn't put very much down, so in the end my mistake will cost a few thousand dollars. I guess the only positive here is that I needed new tires soon so I guess I can say I would have spent that regardless on some tires.

Can't wait to get back on the track!

I'm fine, no injuries to anyone involved luckily, but got the word that the 1LE is going to be a total loss this afternoon. It sucks on many levels, mainly because this is my fault and the only person to blame is myself, but I really liked that car. Lots of fun on the track, fantastic gas mileage on the freeway and just a fun car to drive.

I have toyed with the idea of the zl1 1LE but since this will spend significant time on the street, I think it's a little too much overkill. My dealer is currently trying to find me a replacement. If anyone has any leads on a black 1LE, let me know, the only option I require is the PDR.

I have your car!!!!!! Call me, I am in Georgia. I am a performance specialist at Rick Hendrick Chevrolet!
