Originally I had seriously contemplated the A10 because I thought this may end up being my daily driver. However, we are buying my wife a 4-Door Bronco as well and her old Grand Caravan will become my daily driver. That is my long-winded way of saying it'll be an M6.

I'm not usually a "red" guy, but Wild Cherry has me intrigued:

Haha! Either way... it will be awesome! I think it will be a popular color no doubt! I guess there's something to look forward to this winter in your case.

Track = NCM Grand
Elapsed Time=2:15.744 Official transponder
Camaro Model = 1SS
Date= 9/27/20
Tires= G3s
Mods=2300 Supercharger, MRR 017s, BMR adjustable sway bars, BMR cradle lockout, OEM NPP exhaust (to pass sound at NCM) , C7 Carbon ZLE wing, PSTD pads

I finished 21st overall, the Track Sprint times killed me as i would have been 17th overall on just the 2 Time Attack sessions.

https://timetrials.scca.com/events/1...ssions/overall

Speeds aren't perfect due to phone GPS, but i like the info so i left them on there.

I agree very much with Mountain's assessment of the track (was great to meet you btw) and would love some tips from Provoste. I was pretty scared my first session ever on Thursday, mostly of T5 & T16.

I know on this lap i blew T2 bad, which reduced Vmax into T5 which i still over slowed for. I think i can already take your deception tips from above and I know i kept overbraking T17 and slightly overbraking T1A. When i tried going deeper into 1A i was sometimes getting hard pedal and it was throwing my rhythm off. I was also being very cautious in T23 with throttle application due to what I saw from another forum member.

Congrats on the decision Luan! Wild Cherry looks superb. Then again, SS 1LE looks superb in any color. Especially 2020+. All the best!

Great self reflection, much of what I'd offer you pointed out already. I'd say your lap and feedback is what I often see from advance drivers new to NCM. Most time is lost overcharging technical corners leading to long straights.... that's why its the only track I've ever driven where advanced drivers new to the track can be 5 seconds off the pace.

Feedback: Agreed on T1A, overslowed... you pinch the steering in 1B which causes the rear to step, which you deal with well... but the rear stays squirmy all the way up to T2, which- as you said, you were way wide. T5, yes, overslowed- but not bad. T8-T10 should be flat, you feather a bit, might just be hitting limiter (I'm not that familiar with A8 trans). T10 is taken well, though you lose a lot of time in T12 (deception). In T12 you take a shallow line (square it off more), and you take inside curbing, which upsets the car. Slow car more for T16, so you can be on the throttle accelerating on line, you slide wide and are lucky to catch/collect the car there, that is the corner I've seen the most totaled cars. I've never slid as wide as you do in T16.... Kudos! Sinkhole complex looks good, though I'd advise staying mostly off the curbing through the esses, in my experience it more often upsets the car and requires me to dial back throttle. Yeah, as you said on T23, you left some margin, but understandable.

Great lap, 2:15xx for anyone new to NCM is an accomplishment on your first weekend. Hopefully I can join you guys next year.

Feedback: Agreed on T1A, overslowed... you pinch the steering in 1B which causes the rear to step I needed to track out more into 1B but I was worried with the track limit rules and taking a penalty, which you deal with well... but the rear stays squirmy all the way up to T2 Power application is kind of hard with the supercharger and normal 305 G3s in some spots, which- as you said, you were way wide. T5, yes, overslowed- but not bad. T8-T10 should be flat, you feather a bit, might just be hitting limiter (I'm not that familiar with A8 trans) I feel like most of the time i was flat through here, but surprisingly on my best lap in this video i wasn't. T10 is taken well, though you lose a lot of time in T12 (deception). In T12 you take a shallow line (square it off more), and you take inside curbing, which upsets the car. So i should be going in deeper and a later apex? I also think i could have used more of the track limits here, but once again people were being penalized and throttle application is a little scary there too Slow car more for T16, so you can be on the throttle accelerating on line, you slide wide and are lucky to catch/collect the car there, that is the corner I've seen the most totaled cars.
Yeah i didn't exactly mean to do that, but i was usually over braking there just like T5 so i went a little too deep this lap I've never slid as wide as you do in T16.... Kudos! Sinkhole complex looks good man i felt like i was losing alot of time there and that's why my west track sprint was slow, though I'd advise staying mostly off the curbing through the esses, in my experience it more often upsets the car and requires me to dial back throttleYep that was happening to me. Yeah, as you said on T23, you left some margin, but understandable. Seeing a ZL1 totaled right there will do that to you

Great lap, 2:15xx for anyone new to NCM is an accomplishment on your first weekend. Hopefully I can join you guys next year.

That was a 1:40.94 lap not 1:49.94.

Very nice clean and smooth driving! I see sub 40s in your near future
