Nice seeing bhillakaiceberg again and meeting some of the other Maryland guys you all have damn fast cars! I came to a drag race and ended up seeing a NASCAR pit crew in action, watched the Maryland and Southern boys together repair a broken rear in the blink of an eye ,then right down the strip to a low 11.xx Awesome all you guys rock.

From the few posts and pics on this forum, it looked amazing! Any great or surprising runs for the 6th gen 4's and 6's this year?

That was our finals only two of us I4 ran. We both were hitting 14.2 all weekend. conditions caused a ton of heat soak on the cars. V6's were running fast the two monsters (Gretchen & Jantzen) both broke on the same pass against each other.

Excellent! Were the V6s 6th gens? How did they break?

I think the 2 V6's went 10.6 and 10.7. I was embarrassed to be driving a V8 at that point.

Yea...Unfortunately both the Twin Turbo V6's broke and were not able to compete in the eliminations. Those things were rolling tho!

Those V6's had serious power. Sucks that they broke but they put on a show with that run made a lot of V8's feel like they were standing still.

With great power comes.... great breakage. LOL

Heck, I had my 15 SS LS3 break on my son at the track and it was bone stock.

I only made it over for a little test and tune on Saturday around lunch time with my rental '17 Camaro SS A8 but it was fun due to me running Camaro-cross also.

My last run (the bottom picture) in-between elimination runs was my best run in the heat of the day as I was really starting to concentrate on the tree more.

The last run was not completely recorded on my ticket but you can see my reaction time and 60" was the best of my runs to date and I'm not sure what I would've run but it was a good one anyhow as I beat a C7 heads up on the run.
