Sounds less like magic code, and more like HP Tuners needs to fix their software to me!

Is there anyway to go about contacting hptuners directly about updating the software to support that pin for ethanol?

I contacted HPT tech support and explained this issue as well as shared anecdotes of tuners saying the functionality does not seem to enable flex fuel properly. They claim it works properly and is based on all the Gen IV work they've done over the years.

No additional feedback was provided.

But, i can guarantee that they never had this exact combo as a test bed and have never attempted to validate this functionality on an LTG.

Did you try posting it to their forum?

I guess I put it in the wrong one as there are 3 different connectors on the ecu and I put it in pin 70 of the original connector with the wrong instructions that were fgiven a while back. Getting low engine power message and no atart. No communication with ecu code saying (permanent)

I placed it in the blue one instead of gray one. I guess ecm is now fried but I don't understand how me putting the wire there fried it... there was just a plastic place holder in its place before. I've tried everything to reset the ecm to get it started and nothing.

I put it in pin 70 of X1 instead of x3 as I didn't catch that the new instructions state x3 as the older ones stated x1 so I figured it was the same just different pin..

Did you buy the 'kit' from Vtuner with the correct software?

Yes there was nothing besides the plastic place holder in x1 pin 70 and then I put the wire there. I have the kit from rpm.
