A 1LE has not been announced yet but I wouldn't expect an auto option. The 1LE option is about affordable performance. That's why I don't see them adding MRC, auto trans or upgraded brakes. If they do add one of those, I would prefer better brakes over MRC or the auto trans.

I hope it doesn't include those brakes, as it will add too much to the price. The brakes a alone are what, $3K? The 1LE package needs to be about $5K to work. otherwise, it will be too close to ZL1 money IMO. Plus, those are dealer installed brakes, so I kinda doubt those exact ones will come on a 1LE. I would be happy with just larger rotors, as that won't add much cost. The 4 pot Brembos are proven to be pretty damn good as is...and extra pistons don't necessarily mean better braking, remember that too.

No, but they dissipate heat better. Also if you've got a larger tire that means you have more contact patch on the ground and thus could make use of more pistons. The four piston brakes area good, that's what that Z/28.R's run in the Continental Tire Sportscar Challenge. I think the big thing to improve upon is rotor size.

Ugh. Kill it with a hammer. Automagics don't belong on a track. Some cars just shouldn't be available to everyone. Some cars should only be available to people that can drive them properly
