It looks awesome. I love the previous gens going down the side. This will do for now until I get a garage in the spring.

That's a nice car cover.
Anything else written on it other than what is shown.

By the way I was browsing the internet and came across this, maybe it would be a nice Christmas present; https://windrestrictor.com/camaro-si...-licensed.html It's not just for convertibles.

I’ve seen one in person at Fest last year I think. TruBlue has one if what I’m thinking of. It’s pretty neat. Not sure how well would show up with my dark tint though. Hmm.

If that’s BG as in the other Bowling Green, my Fifty makes its way over there from time to time. My youngest son is a junior at BGSU.

I love the Camaro cover pretty damn sharp!

Alright folks more on the issue i am having with the AUTO button on climate control. I tried it this morning and well nothing happened no hot air blowing through the vents. Here are the details written below.

I had to cover a shift at work today being Saturday. This morning temp was 28! Yes cold, but perfect for testing the AUTO climate control to see if hot air will shoot through the vents. I started the car pulled out of the garage. I turned the climate control knob up to 76 degrees. Yes the car is cold and the engine will still need to warm and heat up to proper temp. I expected that same as with any other. I hit the AUTO button and began driving to work.

As i got on to the way heading west bound I40. Once the car got to its proper temp engine wise i heard the vent on top of the dash closet to the windshield going. I placed my hand over the vent and it was shooting luke warm air. After a few miles miles my feet started to feel like they are burning..LMAO!! I placed my hand below the dash and sure enough i felt hot air coming from that vent. Be advised at no time was there any hot air coming in from the vents that are located right in front of the shifter.

I did check on and off during my 45 minute drive to work. NO air was coming from the vents in front of the shifter weird right. I did the cold air testing by turning the climate control knob to LO and sure enough the vents in front of the shifter came to life and were blowing cold air strong. So after i disconnected and then reconnect the batter it worked, but after today testing something else might going on. Dealership time they can try and see what might be causing it. Take care just sharing my findings.

Cool. Next time I know I'm heading that way I'll PM you. Of course that'll be looking like March or so.

All,
Happy holidays!
I have tucked my FIFTY away for the winter, within weeks of my factory warranty expiration. I look back at my early impressions, which was to keep the car with stock performance. I was impressed with it out of the factory box....
Today, I spy the cherished toy under the fleece, and dream of some springtime tinkering with performance and sound.
All my mods so far have been limited to exterior lighting, black bow ties and an AFM disabler.

I read a lot of threads on camaro6, but I think there are some knuckleheads on some threads. I always feel like the core group on this thread gives good advice, and I seek that now. For instance I took James advice and saved my money by not getting a catch can...

I don’t see headers, cam or SC in my future, but I am considering the following:
Roto-Fab dry filter with sound tube delete.
Solar Engineering throttle body.
Borla S type axle back with NPP.

These three light mods just made Heath roll his eyes....lol...hahaha

I think maybe those three will likely give about 50 more lbs of torque and 10% more HP, and will give the beast a growl that I seek, which is not obnoxious increases of either....
I do wish I could figure out how to get the crackle and pop I used to get in my 69 SS as I coasted downhills or decelerated back in the day....
any thoughts?

Happy to know we are appreciated!

Mods are different for everyone and application.

For any type of daily I wouldn't recommend headers, unless your 20 years old.

The S-Type is more a refined growl.

I dont think you'll achieve 50 lbs-ft of torque with the mentioned mods, BUT your butt-dyno will sure feel an increase!

Heath

I know the Auto feature (unless you override vent control) does do weird vent control at times. I’m wondering if a software update is needed for blend door control or the Auto function itself.

Makes me want to test mine despite never using the feature. I’ve always preferred controlling mine. Winter I typically use heated seats/wheel and floor vent with heat. Summer, upper vents with AC and ventilated seats. Maybe adding bilevel split for the seats to pull some cool air through.

Like Heath said glad to know we are appreciated. Even the crazy ones like me lol.

But yeah Mods are specific to each driver and application. Make it yours and enjoy it. Sounds like a decent setup. And the S type is nice.

As for how to get more D-cel pop, there are several ways. The first one is usually headers/exhaust upgrade with a tune. Other options are aftermarket intake, better exhaust, heavy foot.
