Try a battery disconnect and reset the computers. I would try that first. Then maybe look at fuses or take to the dealer. I personally never use the Auto feature in my Camaro or my truck so I can’t give any feedback on performance.

Copy that! Will try the battery disconnect for 10 minutes and reconnect to see what happens from there. If not then i will check the fuse box to be on the safe side. If all else fails then the dealership. Thank you Kaizer and Martin.

I set it at 74 heat comes on and after a little while it gets cool so i raise it up again to 76 and it get hot again then t last a bit longer before mellowing out to a luke warm temp. The Auto does nothing for heat which is odd last year worked with no issues. This time doesn't blow anything. I will have to set up an appt with the dealer. I am sure i am not the only one. My bumper to bumper is long gone as well. I’m down to powertrain warranty and that’s going to be gone soon.

Hi Guys,

Just following up. I did disconnected the negative terminal from the battery. I let the car sit disconnected for 20 minutes. I reconnected the negative terminal to the battery. Got inside the car hit the ignition button. The engine attempted to start, but did not. Instead the center MFD (Multi Function Display) screen prompted me to lower and raise the driver side windows. The next prompt was to do the same for the passenger side window. After that i tried the ignition again the car started up.

I sat in the car for a few. I set the temp for 76 degrees and hit the AUTO button and sure enough the air started blowing through the vents. I will test to see if it will happen again on a night that is cold outside. I will not use the auto-start for this just basically go out there in the cold and try it to see what happens. I will keep you guys informed. Thanks again for the support it goes along way.

PS: The compass went wacky and its showed CAL (Calibrate) all i did was drive it up the road and the compass set it self.

Yeah the BCM lost power long enough to need to re-index the windows and recalibrate the compass. Normal on extended battery pulls.

Glad to hear that it sounds like that fixed it for you.

I do know remote start does cause some weird issues from time to time on the 6th gen Camaros, especially 16-18 Model Year.

Got my cover in yesterday and it’s definitely legit. All of the part numbers lined up and it was still sealed. The other two have been sold already though.

It looks awesome. I love the previous gens going down the side. This will do for now until I get a garage in the spring.
