They're very underrated most test car dynos are done safely without the intention of hitting the limiter aswell so likely a little more power there I only say this because I doubt anyone would want to endanger a test car and my own experience going all out on my A8 on the dyno. These cars are awesome and the platform is great there's only one way to go with them and that's up without a known ceiling at the moment.

Agreed, you coming to CamaroFest 7? Literally right down the road more or less for you. I'd love to line-up with some other I4's on the strip.

If I can get that Friday off I should be good to go. My vacation has already been put in and approved for this year and that day is not one of them. I still may be able to work it out.

Jason did a good write-up in the dragstrip section on easy weight shaving methods aswell. I will say removing the rear seat is easy but unless you have something for sound deadening an aftermarket exhaust makes for an ungodly amount of cabin noise with nothing to insulate the sound where the back seat is.

Don't bother with removing the back seat. Totally not worth it. Your biggest seat of the pants gain will come from lighter wheels and tires... I finally put my 20" wheels back on last week, boy that was disappointing for a couple days until I got used to it again.

Already took it out gonna make my own rear seat delete kit the rear seat in our Camaro is completely useless. If it's any good I may make a few but only if I like it.

A turbo vehicle usually responds very well when taking restriction off better than N/A car in theory. This 2.0L (t) really proved that. Stay tuned for dyno graphs as they will be posted up.

Weight of OE muffler: 32 Lbs.

Shaving weight seems like a good way to go faster whilst not having to push the engine to its limits.
We will also develop complete Cat back exhausts and down pipes w/ and w/o cats.
