Are you proficient at getting to the traction control options?

Because OMG it took me like 7 minutes to get that screen to stay up. It would flash up the options & then disappear. Why didn’t they just incorporate it into the main settings menu on the cluster or even in the touch screen? I probably wore the TC button half life already.

What is your preference for street driving?

No, I find it extremely frustrating. Finally just started turning everything off for the track.
I just leave it in default nanny mode on the street.

I actually practiced if that sounds weird. Actually just played with it again the other day. I also have messed around with line lock. However not actually burning up my new tires though.

If the weather is real nice with no rain and I’m not driving in heavy city traffic I will turn off the traction control and drive around in that mode. I have tried Competition mode too but it seems to drink more gasoline and is very responsive with the throttle which is a good thing. When colder weather gets here in Georgia I will drive with traction control on because of the GY F1 Super car tires don’t grip that well and it takes longer to get heat in them.

No I am not. It is very frustrating and pretty much my biggest gripe of the car. It is the dumbest way to get to any of the settings. It takes forever and there are way to many steps. It all reminds me of playing Contra back in the day. (Up up down down left right left right B A B A select start). Of course for 2 players

super dumb... or trying to get into line lock or launch control, its like that too. by the time I'm there, it's already too late. Why can't they just follow Porsche? As long as it's in a sport mode, left foot brake, party time, no fiddling with menus.

Probably because they don’t want people launching into crowds or telephone poles or other cars at some stoplight.

Are Porsche owners more responsible then? Or the germans just don't care?

OP, I've found the screen disappears unless I push the TC button twice EXACTLY right, I too have practiced. However more times than not if I press the mode button, the PCM menu comes back up

It’ll disappear no matter what, go to TRACK using mode selector and then tap the TC wait 1 sec and Tap again, then use the mode selector arrows again to navigate the PTMs and press the SEL when you’re on the one you want for the menu to disappear. Quite easy

I find it annoying that it will reset the settings, but actually setting it only takes a second.

I don’t have problems getting to comp mode. My problem is that 0-60 timer, it doesn’t work if I spin at all lol. So I got some slicks coming, let’s see how this bad boy launches now. Never warmed the tires or anything so there’s another problem lol
