Help w method of defrosting 6 gens!
I need to know if GM was ever going to recall that piece in the venting system that seems to let moisture stay inside the 6 gens. They need to because it's annoying and can't wait until colder weather. Anyone have a diy on this?

People have reported that it continues to fog up even after doing the GM recommended fix so many people have said forget it because it requires removing the windshield.
You can try putting a mat over the front vent but other than that its just something you have to live with.

+1 Kirk.
Alternatives: Set to 74F to reduce exterior condensation, or get one of these and throw it up over the vent on muggy days. https://www.amazon.com/Extra-large-G.../dp/B0713N6CFC More tips including some DIY covers here: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=533912 |

For my occasional trouble with this, I find a windshield wiper swipe to be adequate. |

A windshield wipe does indeed remove the condensation for me. It’s annoying, but it works.
