Granted I won't touch a car that needs to be welded to another half a car.. but repairs to the car posted in the 1st post are easily repaired to the same standard as new.

I like how people say they can fix it better than new and then have to slice in body panels and use filler on the weld joints. Sorry, better than new would be full panel replacement and no use of filler.
Also, the paint would have to be baked on in an oven like at the factory for a "better than new" designation for me. After all is said and done, you still have a fixed up wreck with a branded title for quite a bit $$ invested. It ain't cheap fixing these things up. I'd rather just save up a tiny bit more and get a pristine non-wrecked example. |

that's what I told the guy all he wanted was the motor and tranny!
he wants 3500 for rest of the car.. but all that's left is the following. 1 fairly good front rim 2 back rims probably can straighten 1 front brake rotor and caliper 2 rear calipers and discs differential gas tank 2 rear coil overs 1 front coil over but the ball socket popped out so not sure it salvageable rear seats good shape passenger seat perfect driver seat needs to be sewn up from air bags rear cradle scrap value?
