i have heard good things about mgw shifter but also that new gm shifter looks good saw it at the good guys show a few months ago in cali at the chevy booth

It should be the same exact thing as what the 1LE/ZL1 have already. That GMPartsguy.com has it for pre-order on his site with a price but no ETA yet.

That sucks...I think it's a result of slumping sports car sales and the 6th gen being a new platform. There's barely any 6th gens manuals out there compared to other cars.

I emailed them a few days ago (no response) and called today (left a message) to check on it. I'd buy it right now if it was out since it's fairly inexpensive. Install shouldn't be too bad either. I bet you have to get it on a lift though to drop the exhaust, but it shouldn't be a big deal.

We all know that, based on the intake, it'll be available in 2018.....maybe.

I spoke ThatGMPartsGuy and they said it'll be this quarter, but there's no exact date. They said they literally find out the day it's available without any advanced warning beyond it being this quarter. Hopefully we see it soon.

Thank you for the update! I've asked Matthew so many times over the last year about the intake and shifter that I didn't want to ask this soon haha.

The ZL1 is not such a short throw. WISH is was..:(
Never drove a 16SS M6 so I cant compare.
