GM's short throw shifter?

Anyone know what the status is on these? I remember seeing them for pre-order a while back. Honestly, I'm getting sick of waiting for MGW and I'm seriously considering the American Racing exhaust and installing the shifter at the same time.

Have had mine on pre-order since February. No ETA despite them being in production on the 1LE.

Anytime. If you get a chance to drive a 1LE or row the gears at a dealership, give it a try. It'll be what the GM kit feels like.

It's slightly shorter throw, more mechanical and feels tighter than the normal SS, which isn't bad. More like a finishing touch to a good shifter.

Yeah actually I'm planning on trying one tomorrow or this weekend. I met someone locally that has a new 1LE and wants to make the same power upgrades that I have. I let him drive my car and he offered to let me drive his. Hopefully the weather holds up.

I wonder how the gm shifter compares to the hurst shifter? I have the hurst shifter and really like the improvement. I did not know there was a GM short shifter. I also wanted to support hurst over MGW because Hurst was the shifter I had in my prior Camaros. Now that they own Flowmaster there is two products from Hurst that match when I do the npp hurst exhaust.

Well we had a BUNCH of delays on previous projects and had some factory
equipment upgrades that delayed ALL future product development.

But...the GT350 is done. The Gen 5 camaro redo is done and we take
delivery of our 2017 1le this monday. So we WILL get to work on it but
its looking like late summer now. almost a year late i know :(

The email I received was basically the same thing. During certain months they install their shifters for free in Augusta GA. Hopefully when the shifters become available they are promoting that!

Email: I will put your email in the folder and contact you when we have it ready which should be early summer.
