Circle D torque converter

So, with my transmission being shot currently been touching base with a few companies who make a upgrade Torque Converter for the 8L90s....

The response I've gotten is "There isn't a demand" ...so my question is how many people want an upgraded TC? So I can throw it in their face to make it?

Quite a few people would love one but they are right tjere is no demand however that didn't stop them from making ine for the V6.

Tbh I'd really love one to pair with a drag pack. I can only imagine how much that would help

Tracy Lewis Performance in Bradenton had the one made for the v6. He doesnt have many i4s around to test and he specializes in the overkill superchargers for the v6. He's probably the best and closet to chatting with about making one for the i4 and possibly if the v6 converter would fit the i4. I dont know much about the autos. Rxcatchcans.com is his contact

Tracy wanted me to buy one of the v6 converters just to see if it would work, I told him to send me one and I will see if it will fit, and if so I would gladly pay him for it. The consensus is that the v6 converter won't fit as its got a different mounting pattern for the flex plate. Tomorrow I'll have a better idea as I got HyperHawk to send me a stock converter, and I have an LTG flex plate, I'll see if it looks like they will go together. If not we know the answer is no.

I highly doubt Tracy will want to do an i4 converter, says hes invested thousands of dollars to get to this point on the v6 converters, and they're not exactly flying off the shelves.

Last time I asked Circle D, they told me "the R&D department is too backed up", so say there is not demand now is disappointing. If Circle D made a converter I would buy it.

Well it's good that some of you have discussed it. Hope something works out in your favor.

I’ve done a little playing around. We will be separating the trans from an extra engine I have here later today and play some more.
