Cant stand Camaro owners...

I would wave to ya. I'm friendly to all that wave and say hi or even talk to me. I've had some that are short with me but, there are some awesome others out there.

I encountered same thing recently
but don't really let it get to me, funny/sad thing is all the v6 camaros on campus never seem to acknowledge other camaros. The only other V8 I found actually came up to me to say "nice car" then drove off
Theres a white LT camaro in the same apt complex I am, and when I waved at him (he was getting in the car and I getting out of mine) he ignored me completely.

edit: there was one v6 camaro also same apt complex that actually came up to me and we started "camaro talk". But he graduated and moved :(

We also have a Street Rod and a 900 Kawasaki Custom along with our 2010 LS....
So we have 3 attitudes to live with...
Street Rodders are the Best..
We haven't seen any animosity at all with those guys....

If some wackadoodle was going nuts flailing their arms at me I am sure I would totally ignore them too thinking they are just off their rocker. When someone just waves I wave back. If they tell me I have a nice car I always say thank you. I think it's the way you decided to approach this guy and think you are reading way too much into this. Next time try a regular hi or wave.

I always wave back unless i notice the other driver to late. Id say about 3/4 of the owners around here are more than happy to wave...and thats really more than i expected. I guess some people went to the dealership and bought a car...and the rest of us brought home our passion.

I treat being a Gen5 Camaro owner the same way I do as an avid motorcyclist. I wave at all other bikes while riding that I see in passing. 99% of them wave back.
It's the culture.

I do the same when driving my Camaro. I wave, honk, thumbs up or flash my lights at other Camaro owners. Some wave back or acknowledge.....however, MOST just
have a stone face, don't bother even looking at you and try their best to believe you don't exist.

Ashame but that's the way the world is. :(

Ouch! Most Corvette owners are car guys too, and trust me they love to wave! I have a Corvette and a Camaro and lately I get more waves in the Camaro over the Vette (unless it's from another Vette, they almost always wave).

A lot of it is the way you approach it too... I wouldn't wave at you either. A quick wave is fine, but if you're going to act like a mental patient and wave like crazy, flash your lights, honk your horn, then I'm going to tell you to f*ck off.
