Trailer Light Harness
Does anyone have a video or a tutorial on how to wire up a trailer light wiring harness? I recently added a hitch receiver and purchased a small trailer for track days and would like to add the wiring harness for trailer lights, without screwing anything up. I purchased the CURT hitch receiver and the CURT wiring harness.
Thanks in advance! |

No video...........sorry, but the pdf is generic wiring instructions. use '3 wire'
I used a Hopkins 46255 powered converter pull the rear hard panel and the two side soft panels out of the trunk Vehicle wiring type: "3-wire" left turn signal: Car-Blue/White stripe (Converter-yellow) running light: Car-Purple/White stripe (Converter-brown) right turn signal: Car-Blue/Violet stripe (Converter-green) no need for a brake signal I got 12v from one of the BATT terminals in the trunk and there are several ground lugs nearby. I used crimp-on insulated snap locks It is handy to have a light tester like this one, they are available at walmart and most auto parts stores. https://www.amazon.com/Oyviny-Traile...%2C173&sr=1-26
