Got her back with the new fluid, transmission feels definitely different, it’s sharper. I feel more confidence in it in sport mode. In tour I do notice it’s more of softer shifting. No shudder in V6 mode, slight shudder in V4. Yet again it’s only been 20 miles.

Getting it now. New blue label fluid, wondering if the damage is from actually driving it, because this car sat in a showroom for a loooong time.

The first few gear changes after I got it back were brutal

But it does feel better so far, but am I noticed some RPM fluctuation still. Hopefully this fix is real and I caught it early.

And for anyone that saw my post about the advisor claiming they do triple flushes anyway(regardless of the new TSB), no they didnt. Invoice showed 20 quarts. That's what I figured, advisor's don't like it when the customer knows more on an issue.

Great videos. They sure helped with my purchase. I had the Borla S but wanted something different. The Solo Axle Back Exhaust is a great looking pipe setup. Too bad its hidden.

How do you feel the Borla S and Solo compare? Also, did you have NPP?

I have had Solo on my mustang and camaro in the past, and I loved it. However, I have the NPP and I don't want to lose that functionality, but I find the exhaust (especially on start up) too raspy.

No NPP. Originally my car was a single tip.
Purchased the dual tip valance and had it painted gloss black.
Borla was okay but I wanted something louder, free flow without a muffler breaking down changing the sounds over time.
I am stuck not being able to drive the car due to snow and storage.
The videos in the previous threads are bang on.
I can say the idle has a good bass to it now.

I too had Solo on my Supercharged Pontiac Solstice and 2013 Camaro RS. Loved them both.

I had the NPP and replaced it with the Solo setup. The cold starts are loud, probably louder than the NPP in sport mode, but better sounding. Overall deeper tone but you can't switch to stealth mode for cold starts.

That's my only issue you know? I like the NPP while I drive, however I think it is way too raspy on start up. If I get rid of the secondary cats, it seems like it gets even raspier.

I love Solo set ups, but I don't want to lose the NPP functionality, yet it sounds better then the other set ups that retain the NPP.

Hit something on my way to the dealership this morning. Looks like I'll be getting a new wheel and tire.

It was 80 Friggin degrees in February here in NC!!! So, I drove her!

Actually, been warm all week and have taken her to work every day this week. Love this warm weather.

She stays in the garage when below 40...

Sorry to see that! However, you are headed in the direction, hope you have wheel and tire insurance.

Forget that! Stock wheels and tires are a dime a dozen in the classified. Buy a set and store them in the garage. He’ll be ready for the next time a road goblin eats a tire/wheel.
