You could've found someone with an SS to swap trunks with you. That said if anyone in NJ with a silver RS or non-SS wants to swap trunks hit me up.

Went to leave for work this morning, my driver side mirror was frozen in place. Nice.

You move yours around? I haven't touched mine in years. Kinda annoying to even have the controls take up a dedicated spot but there was no room anywhere to put a pause button except on the touch screen.

I have the memory seating package so when I turn the car off they go from the exit position (along with the seat) to my driver 1 position and the driver side one didn’t move.

Got a set of race ramps. Used them today. Have the front lift points from ZL1 installed and just doing the rear in a few minutes. Got a set of black OEM rims last week from lemmy and provided my TPMS sensors show up tomorrow - a set of new Michelin PS3 A/S go on Friday.

The stock F1 runflats have been horrible in the rain - and it's been raining a lot. White knuckle drives. I have 8k on the F1's so will keep them on the spare wheels and use them in the spring / summer after the rains stop.

After searching and even thinking of putting on the PS4's I decided on the PS3 A/S. I'll let you know how I like them. F1 RF's are good in the hot and dry - but they are loud and harsh - so hoping for a little less noise and a lot better rain performance.

GM CAI ECU Flash by Dealership

Had my car in to flash the ECU to complete the GM CAI install today. Also, installing the GM CAI requires you to pull the sound tube hose clamp off the old air box and reuse it on the new CAI. When I did that, without forcing it, the mounting tab thingy broke off. The clamp itself should not cost more than a buck or two, but the parts guy checked it out and found you have to buy the entire sound tube to get the clamp...$127. Forget that!

The parts guy asked if I did anything outside of the instructions to remove it, I told him no. He said ask them to replace it under warranty. I did and they agreed! Will wonders never cease?

I also had earlier discovered the third brake light lens was cracked with no indication of why. I suspect it must have cracked on the assembly line somehow. I asked them to replace it under warranty and they agreed to that too.

So, final surprise, when they gave me my fob back they handed me a bill for $60! I pointed to the install instructions where it clearly says to charge that cost to a GM work order. It also states that the flash was paid for in the purchase price of the CAI. That too is clearly stated on the install instructions. She said oh, ok...I never saw that before.

So, I am very pleased once again with the service department at Dwain Taylor in Murray, KY...top notch in my book.

I actually can't believe it and didn't even realize the 1LE cars don't come with one standard. I saw a member on here put his car up for sale and noticed it on the window sticker and thought, "hey! I want one!". For roughly $170 can't hurt to have one...

I can't wait to drive this car but I'm not looking forward to the brake dust the Brembos put off. Going to apply Adam's Ceramic Wheel coating to the wheels tomorrow to hopefully make cleaning the wheels a breeze!

I have Ceramic Pro on the wheels, and they are indeed very easy to clean no matter how much the dust. They sure don't stay clean for too long, but then cleaning is no hassle and I quite like the performance of the stock pads.

Had my CAI installed by the dealer a bit ago. But according to the work order I can’t tell if the flash was performed or not. Does it indicate anything on your work order for it as a line item?

I had mine installed by the dealer and work order did indicate the tune was completed. I would check with your dealer to make sure they did it.
