Speed limit no longer displayed

This week the speed limit stopped displaying. It normally is available on the NAV screen, HUD, and the DIC. It was working, then it wasn't.

Can't find an option in the NAV settings to display the speed limit. Can't find help in the manual. Ideas? Reboot NAV?

And it is working again. My wife drove down to Boulder and on the way it started working. Has been working fine since. Did nothing, changed nothing. Darn electronics!

I live in a rural area and it doesn't always show up..... depends on the roads. As you get off main roads, onstar doesn't always have the info....

It's not OnStar, it's the built-in NAV maps that don't have speed limit info for all roads. Happens quite a bit out where I live since there are lots of rural roads.

We can disable the speed sign on the HUD all together, right? I found it distracting on a car I test drove today... too bright.
