Devil is in the details. Little things like that(ambient lighting in cupbolders) can have a profound impact on one's level of enjoyment. Sometimes its the "little things".

Only thing that I kinda wish I was able to do is find a decent place for a holster but at the same time with my alien gear holster and car seats being great, it really isn't needed. |

I'm in the market for a CCW and holster, and was interesting in the urban carry holster, but it isn't draw accessible from a sitting position. If you find something that works well in the Camaro, please let us know.

For CCW I use an HK VP9 9mm and after going through about 6 holsters, I have settled on the Alien Gear IWB. I actually love that holster, it's pretty legit and makes carrying so much easier. I CAN sit and drive the camaro while carrying BUT if I will always look for things that are a bit more niche and easier to draw. I absolutely hate under the steering wheel holsters and do not like cross reach ones either (the ones you place on the passenger side). Drawing from waist band isn't terrible but it isn't the best... So I will keep looking lol.

I had a MP9 and HK p30L before hand. I love my VP9, it is pricey so I would suggest grabing a used one or trade another for it. I traded my HK p30L for 500 bucks and Cabelas gave me a discount on the new purchase of the VP9 thus I only paid 80 bucks for it. I honestly do love it. It did give me blisters in my trigger finger after putting 390 rounds through it at 1 go. But then I changed up the grips (you get 3 different sizes with the firearm) and now I have no I issues with it. I am by no means a pro pistol shooter but my 25 to 35 yards is spot on from a draw. I will suggest this though... Every firearm is different for a person, some fit YOU better than others. From my experience... Definitely do some test firing (at least 300 rounds) and then you will truly know if the firearm and you are ONE. I am in love with my AR15 though, MP15 MagPull edition. What a fantastic rifle... I went and got a BCM charging handle for it as well and it is very simple yet perfect for me.

I have a glock 27 gen 4 that absolutely eats my hands. Simply putting through 8 rounds makes me not want to shoot it any more. The .40sw has quite a kick, especially compared to a .45 auto. I had considered it for daily, but its a bit thick.

I just got the urban carry holster... you are correct about drawing from a seated position... but... that thing is comfortable! and works good from standing!

Does it work as well as the video shows? I know there is probably some break-in period as the leather softens, but...

Way to hijack the thread to our other toys haha.
I am curious of the urban carry holster. You can never have too many holsters!!!! I may just end up ordering on of those later on after Christmas and all. |
