I know what headers are, I have Kooks long tubes on two of my cars...my point was that dyno shop seemed to think what the car has isn't so great, and borderlined what they would call headers. Gotta see for myself...

I'm not trying to say you don't know what headers are, I'm really sorry if I implied that. I'm simply saying if they're calling them headers, that's incorrect, because, at least according to my understanding of the definition (in common vernacular, on this forum, and in wide use online), on the Camaro LT1 engine, there are headers and not manifolds.

I agree that set of long tubes would help performance and sound immensely, but to say that they're manifolds when they're very obviously headers (no matter how inefficient they may be) is... incorrect.

How do you like kooks? Me and my dad put a set on his blown Challenger HEMI with a Corsa exhaust, hi-flow cats. It really added some power, plus you can see them behind the front wheels a tiny bit - sweet sweet. I'd like to get a set for the new Camaro.

Like them both a lot. Gained 19 on one car, 26 on the other. Not cheap, but well worth it.
